Hijacked Demand: How Our Reality Is Manufactured for Us
and affect what collectively manifests from this
Part 2 of a three-part exploration
Part 1→ The Law of Attraction Was Never Just Personal: It Was Always Collective
Part 3 → Sovereign Co-Creation: When Manifestation Becomes Architecture
We know now that demand (when it comes to the Law of Supply and Demand) is not just about commerce or the market. It is about energy, alignment, agreement, and participation (such as in systems and lifestyles).
But what happens when our demand isn’t truly ours? What happens when our desires are influenced, shaped, and engineered… not by our hearts, but by algorithms, fear, marketing, convenience, or social pressure?
This is the hidden force behind modern manifestation: We are contributing to realities we did not consciously choose, simply by participating in them.
When Desire Gets Designed for Us
We often think desire is organic, something that rises naturally from within. But in today’s world, much of what we think we want was actually suggested to us. Not through force, but through:
- Emotional marketing shaping what we should dream of
- Algorithms training our attention and desires
- Scarcity narratives that keep us consuming
- Convenience culture conditioning us to avoid effort
- Social pressure telling us what success, happiness, or spirituality should look like
Over time, these influences don’t just sell products, they sell realities. They quietly script what we believe is normal, possible, desirable, or even necessary. And when something feels “normal,” we stop questioning it, but this doesn’t mean we aren’t lending it the power to manifest, rooting it more deeply, even if it isn’t truly something that aligns with our spiritual values or what we truly want manifested in the world.
When people feel lonely,
industries sell digital belonging.
When people feel anxious,
industries sell numbing.
When people feel inadequate,
industries sell identity.
When people feel powerless,
industries bank on it through selling temporary solutions
When people begin to awaken,
industries sell “versions” of awakening that don’t threaten the system itself.
The Spiritual Cost: When Our Manifestation Power Is Rerouted
We may pray for peace, but spend hours consuming outrage. We may desire connection, but engage mostly with digital substitutes. We may value sustainability, but buy what is easiest or cheapest at the expense of the environment. We may want freedom, but rely on systems that keep us dependent.
This doesn’t make us hypocritical. It makes us human in a conditioned world. But we are capable of overcoming this conditioning and understanding that when our conscious intentions and our unconscious participation do not align our manifestation power becomes fragmented.
We begin supplying realities we never meant to empower.
The Turning Point: Awakening from Manufactured Demand
The first step is not to blame, shame, or radically withdraw, but to simply to notice. Ask yourself: Where did this desire come from? Did I choose it, or was it chosen for me for someone else’s profit?
Awareness is sovereignty. When we start noticing what feels true, and what feels programmed, we begin reclaiming our right to desire differently.
And Here Is the Beautiful News:
You don’t need to fix the system, change all your choices, or live perfectly. You only need to begin choosing with awareness. One aligned choice is more powerful than a thousand unconscious ones. One conscious moment can interrupt years of conditioning. And one enlightened decision can redirect the flow of energy.
