The Circle and the Square: Sacred Integration and the Rainbow Bridge
Reflections on the Crop Circle discovered in May 2025
From fractured ground I rose, drawn by light I almost forgot. Above
the noise, I found the truth, and brought it home to earth.
In May 2025, a stunning crop circle appeared in Sutton Veny, Wiltshire. It portrayed an intricate Celtic knot held within a circle, with a square at its center. While crop circles are often debated, and I recommend everyone find their own symbolism and meaning, asking ChatGPT about how it would interpret the response offered was:
The design has sparked various interpretations among researchers and enthusiasts. The Celtic knot is traditionally associated with themes of eternity and interconnectedness. The inclusion of a square at the center is seen by some as symbolic of grounding or structure, potentially representing the material world. This juxtaposition of the infinite (circle) and the finite (square) may suggest a message about balancing spiritual and material aspects of existence.
The circle has long represented spirit, eternity, and the boundless. The square is its earthly counterpart, representing form, structure, stability. For the square to sit within the circle is to place matter within spirit. This is such a powerful message: the material world is (or must be) held inside the container of the spiritual, not the other way around.
But for many of us, when it comes to the way we live our lives, we’ve learned to do the opposite.

Forward vs. Backward Integration
The reason this became meaningful to me was because, years ago, within a dream, I was shown two ways humans align spiritually. One way was called, “forward integration” and the other “backward integration.”
- Forward Integration is when we start with our spiritual values and shape our lifestyle around them. For example, believing in peace, and choosing not to fund or support industries that profit from war or exploitation, even if it’s inconvenient. Our lifestyles are brought into alignment with our spiritual values of peace and love.
- Backward Integration is when our lifestyle comes first, representing our need to survive, fit in, or succeed. We package or compartmentalize our spiritual values to fit a box we live defined by our material lifestyles. We might believe in peace, love, and oneness with nature, but still support unethical entities or consume things manufactured through an extractive, exploitative, polluting, or destructive process because “that’s just how life is.”
This second way leads to a quiet but aching rift inside due to the need to live with cognitive dissonance or to engage in spiritual bypassing. It’s like trying to build a temple of light using bricks soaked in shadow. Many of us live in this dissonance daily and don’t even realize it, because the disconnection has become normalized or seems impossible to overcome and still survive.

Building the Rainbow Bridge
The way out of dissonance, is through creating a bridge: bridging the material with the spiritual with new awareness….
